English: Wallsend station on the Tyne and Wear Metro is probably the only station in the United Kingdom with bilingual signs in English and Latin. The reason for this is it is only a few hundred yards from Segedunum Roman fort.
Latina: Statio Segedunensis est statio ferriviaria metropolitana Anglica, Segeduni sita (vulgo Wallsend). Nota est ob signa per stationem, Anglice et Latine scripta et ob imagines tabernarum localium, latinizatas ab artifice Michaelis Pinsky.
